Finally made it to La Paz!
A six hour bus ride took me from Salta, Argentina to the border of Bolivia. We left at 12:30am and arrived at the border at about 6:30am. From there we had to wait and hour and a half in La Quiaca, Argentina, for the border to open so our passports could get stamped and cross into Villazón, Bolivia.
The bus terminal in Villazón is a 10 minute walk from the border, and I bought a ticket to La Paz for 80 Bolivianos, about U$S10.
Well, after 20 hours of travelling on dirt roads full of ruts, we arrived at La Paz.
