When travelling in El Chaltén, Argentina, I met a student, Philipp, on the far right, who invited me to his house where he and three other Germans are living and working for a year in El Alto. El Alto is the ghetto poor neighborhood that lies above the valley of La Paz. It´s a very tranquil place, and nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city in the evenings.
This photo is from their rooftop, Julio, Christian, Philipp on the top, and Christoph below (too scared to hop up on the wall, a straight 30 foot drop on the other side!).
