I'll have to admit, I didn't really believe people who told me that the night life here doesn't start until 2am. It really does. Some places don't really get hopping until 3 or 3:30 in the morning and stay open until 8am. And then there are places that open at 6am and stay open until 2pm! I had a nice Bife de Chorizo (traditional Argentine beef steak) dinner with a couple packers from the hostel in Palermo last night. When we finished and got up to leave at midnight, an Argentine couple was just being seated. And they were at least 60!
Back at the hostel, some of us arranged to go to Sunset, a disco downtown. For $30 pesos, they would drive us down and give us a couple drink tickets. The transport picked us up at 2:15, we got there at 2:45 and I didn't make it back until 7am. Porteños definitely know how to have a good time!
