Well, we had some awesome seafood for lunch and asked the 20 year old waiter if he new of any deals on last minute boats leaving for a tour of the islands. Of course was his answer, and he asked us to give him five minutes and he would personally escort us over to the office.

Elizabeth Wittmer, the daughter of Rolf Wittmer, the son of Margaret Wittmer, greeted us and indeed told us that cabin 6 was free and the boat, Tip Top II, was leaving tomorrow! How much? $1400 per person. 7 nights 8 days. I looked at her with a frown and said we could only pay $1000, and $1400 was way too much anyways
and that cabin six was right next to the engine room. She just looked at me and laughed and laughed. But I insisted, and after about a minute of her laughing, I said, Okay, $1100, that's really all we can
afford. Of course, she laughed even more, but then suddenly she picked up the phone and made a call. After a 10 second conversation, she looks up at us and says, Tienes suerte!, You're lucky!

So Friday morning we headed back to the airport to meet out guide, Angelica, and the rest of our travelling companions, 14 of them, flying in from the mainland. After that, it was a 10 minute ride to the port of Baltra and we headed out for Genovesa.
