Tigre is a small, slow weekend destination for a lot of folks from Buenos Aires. The Rio Tigre empties into the Rio de la Plata here, which eventually dumps into the Atlantic. Took a short boat ride through the tributaries which are home to wealthy weekend cottages (like the Hamptons). The water isn't too polluted and many enjoyed the day waterskiing.
