What a shock coming to Warsaw. After spending over two weeks in Ukraine and Belarus (and the last two days in crumbling Brest), getting off the train and seeing the hustle and bustle of Warsaw, its
skyscrapers, influence of western culture (almost every newsstand sells the british tabloids) is eyeopening. Definitely back in the E.U.
Beyond this hustle and bustle, I didn't find too much to see in Warsaw. I found Chopin's heart buried in the Church of the Holy Cross, and there is an interesting museum also dedicated to his life and work here.
The old town has been restored, but isn't the heart of the city, like it is in Krakow or Wroclaw.
