Floreana, the island of mystery, was the first inhabited island in the Galapagos. It's the island of mystery, because, well, mysteriously, many of the first inhabitants there disappeared. For the whole "story", you'll have to find Margaret Wittmer's book called Floreana, where she attempts to exhonerate herself from the situation.
By the way, the pink flamingos here are amazing to watch...
